Using StarVideo™ on Windows

These steps should assist an end-user with the following issues:

  • The StarVideo™ starlet displays a message to install Flash
  • The StarVideo™ starlet displays a message connecting to server but never connects

The end result should resolve both these issues with the StarVideo™ application framework not connecting.

  1. Uninstall Flash via the Control Panel
  2. Install the version of flash located here - https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_20.0.0.286_archive.zip
  3. Clear the Application Framework cache (Click here for How-To article)
  4. Reboot computer.

Note: Be sure to use Flash Player v20 or earlier.
