Building a New StarPhone for Desktop Extension

  • As a channel partner, you will need to login to the portal and select the customer - location.
  • Within the extensions menu, you will now have StarPhone for Desktop.  
  • Remember to assign a user email to the extension which will be used to login to the StarPhone for Desktop.
  • Save to System 
Click here to download and install the StarPhone for Desktop Application, selecting either Windows or Mac as appropriate.
 
Converting an existing SoftPhone extension to StarPhone for Desktop
  • As a channel partner, you will need to login to the portal and select the customer - location.
  • Within the extensions menu, find the Softphone extension of the user you want to upgrade and change the extension type to StarPhone for Desktop. 
  • Remember to assign a user email to the extension which will be used to login to the StarPhone for Desktop.
  • Save to System

  • http - port 80
  • https - port 443
  • xmpp - port 5222
  • SIP - TCP Source Range (59000 - 60000) to any
